Grace Ruined Update!

Well, I do declare! After a month and a half of unabashed procrastination, I've revised & added a few more pages to Grace Ruined. Of course, this new work can only be credited to my complete hatred for the rewrite I'm presently doing my darnedest to avoid.

For those of you who've been keeping abreast of Grace Ruined, you'll notice I've done some tinkering with names. Rich is now known as Brad. I have this terrible habit of giving characters similar names. And yet again, I find myself with the same problem- Riley and Rich.

What was I thinking? You should see Bound--it's ridiculous!

Anyway, please keep in mind that this is a WIP--if you see anything in need of correction, or have suggestions for improvements, I'd love to hear from you. Hope you enjoy!

Grace Ruined Cont.

I have good news and I have bad news, dear readers. Which would you like to hear first?  The good news, you say? Excellent choice! The good news (drum roll please): This evening I added to Grace Ruined, (link can be found over on the right hand side of the page). I also made some revisions, but as I was linking the file, I saw a few errors in my writing, it's maddening, maddening I tell you!!!  Sigh... Oh, by the way, that wasn't the bad news, not the official bad news, anyway.  The real bad news is that I only added a small amount.

Before you start complaining I just want to say something in my defense....okay, this is really just a lame excuse, but it's the truth. This whole bit of writing without any fantasy based characters is really taking it out of me! Where are the mummies? Or the fairies pinching people on the ear? As my protagonist walks down the street its all I can do not to have a werewolf leap out and scare her half to death.  But I know how this story is going to end and I want to write it. So I apologize if my slooooowness is hard on you. Please just keep in mind that "I'm givin' it all I got!" (said with a scottish accent).  With that, I'm signing off, I've become punch drunk on the late hour, and seem to be, um, speaking nonsense....

Computer Whiz

Today is one of those pat myself on the back kind of days. A proud and boastful day.  In song, instead of the words: "Don't cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me?" (Pussy Cat Dolls) the lyrics would be "Don't cha wish you were smart like me?" Okay, that's an exaggeration, I'm not all that smart--but I'm willing to overlook that small fact.  Because at the moment I'm feeling quite smug.

Those of you who caught my blog yesterday would have heard me say that I was hoping to turn Grace's Ruin into an e-book sort of affair.  I wanted it to be user friendly. So, last night I went on a mission, one I wouldn't abandon until the job was done.  And I'm proud to say that, I--me--all by myself, figured it out. That's right, I converted a Word Doc to pdf and then obtained a url for it.   Google is the land of milk and honey for an inquisitive mind such as mine.

While I was at it, I changed the title from Grace's Ruin to Grace Ruined (like this better) and you will find the link over on the right hand side of my blog.  How cool is that? I have now decided that I am capable of anything.  A scary thought for anyone who knows me on a personal level, I'll admit.  Computer whiz will now be added to my resume of conquests, along with plumber, mason, painter, landscaper, and all round cool mama!

Can I hear a WHOOP! WHOOP!?
